Rangers' Rempe Hits IR for Thumb Fix No. 2

Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe heads back to injured reserve after a second procedure on that mangled left thumb, the one he shattered in multiple spots during an October scrap with Ryan Reaves. The kid fought through 12 games post-LTIR activation, but coach Mike Sullivan saw the grip issues killing his edge in battles and pulled him aside for a reset.
